Careers · North York, Toronto
Work at a logistics company that does the work itself
Metropolitan Logistics employs its own warehouse crews, drivers, movers and dispatchers. The work is local: our warehouse is in North York, our trucks stay in the GTA & Southern Ontario, and the operation is small enough that you will know everyone on the dock.
Roles we hire for
Where you would fit
Warehouse associates & lumpers
Container unloading and loading, palletizing, forklift operation, receiving and staging at our North York dock. Physical, steady, local.
AZ and DZ drivers
Container drayage between the GTA intermodal terminals and our warehouse; straight-truck distribution routes across the GTA and Southern Ontario. Home every night — we do not run long-haul.
Movers & packers (international)
Export-standard packing, crating and inventory for household moves leaving the GTA. Training in international packing and customs inventories provided.
Dispatch & logistics coordinators
Terminal appointments, dock scheduling, customer quotes and shipment tracking. Experience with drayage, intermodal or freight forwarding is an asset.
What to expect
Local, steady, hands-on
- Work based at our North York warehouse or on GTA routes — home every night
- Training on container handling, forklift, TDG and export packing
- A small team where dispatch, drivers and crews talk to each other directly
- Steady volume from commercial accounts, not seasonal gig work
- Room to move between warehouse, driving, moving and dispatch roles
How to apply
Email us — no portal, no forms
Send a short note about the role you are interested in, your experience, and — for drivers — your licence class and abstract. Attach a résumé if you have one; a clear email is fine if you do not.
