Toronto Trucking Company for GTA Distribution, LTL & Last-Mile Delivery

Most trucking companies in Toronto are built for the highway, with city deliveries as an afterthought. We are built for the city: straight trucks with liftgates and 53′ trailers running out of our Toronto warehouse, LTL and pool distribution, retail and DC appointments, and last-mile delivery across the GTA and Southern Ontario.

We do not run long-haul. Our trucks stay in the region, so the appointment you booked is the appointment we keep.

Warehouse-to-door distribution

The core of our trucking service is distribution from inventory we hold. Product arrives at our North York warehouse by container or trailer, is stored or staged, and goes out on our straight trucks as orders are released — daily routes across the GTA, scheduled deliveries to Southern Ontario, and appointment deliveries to distribution centres in Mississauga, Brampton, Milton and Vaughan. Because the truck leaves from our own dock, there is no carrier pickup to wait for and no cut-off missed because a line-haul was late.

For companies without a Toronto warehouse this replaces a local branch: forward stock in North York, next-day delivery to GTA customers, one invoice for storage, handling and delivery. Details of the storage side are on the warehouse page.

  • Daily and scheduled routes across the GTA
  • Southern Ontario runs to Hamilton, KW, Guelph, Barrie, Oshawa, Niagara and London
  • Retail DC and cross-dock appointments, sequenced and confirmed
  • Liftgate delivery to locations without a dock
  • Inside delivery, placement and debris removal on request
  • Signed POD with photos on every stop

LTL shipping in Toronto without the LTL network

National LTL carriers move a Toronto pallet through a terminal, a line-haul and a second terminal to deliver it across the city two days later, and a damaged pallet has been handled five times. LTL shipping in Toronto through our fleet is direct: the pallet is picked up or released from our dock and delivered the same or next day by the same truck. Pool distribution works the same way for shippers outside the region — a line-haul trailer drops at our dock, and our straight trucks deliver the pallets to their GTA consignees the next morning.

Pricing is per pallet or per stop by zone, with fuel included and no accessorial schedule to decode. Liftgate, inside delivery and appointment charges are quoted up front when the delivery needs them.

Last-mile delivery in Toronto for B2B and heavy goods

Last-mile delivery in Toronto is where most distribution plans break — narrow streets, no dock, a receiver who can only take freight between nine and eleven. Our drivers do the same routes every week and know which loading zones exist and which receivers need a call ahead. Straight trucks with liftgates and pallet jacks handle storefronts, restaurants, clinics, offices and construction sites; two-person crews handle furniture, fixtures, appliances and equipment that need to go inside. For deliveries that require uncrating, unpacking or placement, our white-glove service adds the crew and the care.

We also run the final leg for transloaded containers: a container unloaded at our dock in the morning becomes a dozen GTA deliveries by the afternoon.

Service area: GTA and Southern Ontario

We state it plainly so nobody is surprised: our trucks serve the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario. Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa are daily. Hamilton, Kitchener–Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Barrie, Newmarket, Niagara, Peterborough, Belleville, London and Windsor are scheduled runs. We do not dispatch to other provinces or the United States; when a shipment needs to go further, we load it at our dock onto a line-haul carrier you or we select.

Why a Toronto distributor should care that we own the warehouse

A trucking company that also runs the warehouse can promise things a carrier cannot. Orders released by 2 p.m. leave the same day because the truck is already at the dock. A delivery refused at the receiver comes back to storage instead of a carrier terminal with a redelivery fee. A container that arrives early goes into staging instead of a customer's parking lot. That integration is the practical meaning of "asset-based", and it is the reason importers, distributors and forwarders use us as their Toronto distribution partner rather than a carrier plus a 3PL plus a drayage company.

FAQ

Trucking & Distribution GTA: frequently asked questions

What areas does your trucking service cover?
The Greater Toronto Area daily, and Southern Ontario — Hamilton, Kitchener–Waterloo, Guelph, Barrie, Oshawa, Niagara, London and Windsor — on scheduled runs. We do not run to other provinces or the U.S.
Do you offer same-day delivery in Toronto?
Yes for orders released by 2 p.m. from inventory at our warehouse, subject to route capacity. Next-day is standard for scheduled distribution.
What is LTL shipping?
Less-than-truckload shipping moves pallets that do not fill a trailer. National LTL carriers route them through terminals; our regional service delivers directly from our dock on the same truck. See what is last-mile delivery? for how the final leg works.
Can you deliver to locations without a loading dock?
Yes. Straight trucks with liftgates and pallet jacks deliver to storefronts, offices, clinics, construction sites and residences.
How is delivery priced?
Per pallet or per stop by zone, fuel included. Liftgate, inside delivery, appointment scheduling and wait time beyond the free window are listed on the rate card so there are no surprise accessorials.
Do you provide pool distribution for shippers outside Ontario?
Yes. Your line-haul carrier drops a trailer at our North York dock; we unload, sort and deliver the pallets to their GTA consignees on our trucks — usually the next morning.
