These terms govern your use of metropolitanlogistics.ca (the "Site"), operated by Metropolitan Logistics. By using the Site you agree to them. The services we provide — drayage, warehousing, freight forwarding, distribution, crating and moving — are governed separately by our Service Terms and Conditions and by the contract for each booking.
1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site to learn about our services, read our guides and request quotes. You may not use it to send unsolicited commercial messages, scrape content in bulk, interfere with its operation, submit false information through its forms, or infringe anyone's rights.
2. Quotes and information
Information on the Site — including transit times, cost structures, customs requirements and regulatory descriptions — is provided for general guidance, reflects our understanding at the time of writing, and may change without notice. It is not legal, customs or tax advice. A quote request submitted through the Site is an enquiry, not a booking; a binding quote is the written document we send in response, and a booking arises only when we confirm it in writing.
3. Intellectual property
Text, photographs, graphics, logos and code on the Site are owned by Metropolitan Logistics or used with permission and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own reference. Reproduction or republication of our guides, in whole or in substantial part, requires our written permission; brief quotations with attribution and a link are welcome.
4. Third-party links and services
The Site links to third-party websites — carriers, government agencies, industry associations, maps — that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Analytics and email services used to operate the Site are described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metropolitan Logistics disclaims all warranties regarding the Site and its content, and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects the liability provisions of a service contract, which are set out in the Service Terms and Conditions.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the courts of Ontario.
