Argentina grants duty concessions on used household goods to returning Argentine citizens who have lived abroad the qualifying period and to foreigners arriving on residence visas. The concession is genuine; the process around it is famously bureaucratic — expect the clearance to take longer than in most countries, and expect every document to be read.
